Paul the Peddler: Or, the Adventures of a Young Street Merchant

FROM THE PUBLISHER

This book is a classical novel by Horatio Alger, Jr., reprinted in very large type to make it more accessible to people with visual disabilities, such as macular degeneration. Most large-print books are 14-18 point type. This special 24-point type edition has type about a third of an inch in height.

Horatio Alger, Jr., was a minister who lived Boston and New York City areas in the latter part of the 19th century. He was a prolific author of inspiring tales of self-reliance, usually having "street-boys" of that era as heros. His works are legendary contributions to the American tradition of persistence, honesty, and self-reliance leading almost inevitably to success and a happy ending.

SYNOPSIS

Typical Alger tale of success due to hard work and good luck.
