About the Author
Michol O'Connor served as Justice on the First Court of Appeals in Houston from 1989 to 2000. She is a respected lecturer and author, recognized as a leading expert in litigation. Before her election to the appellate court, Justice O'Connor practice civil trial and appellate law in both the public and private sectors. She served as chair of the Appellate Practice and Advocacy section of the Texas State Bar for 1995-1996.
