Book Description
Sex, murder, and a deal with the Devil - it's all in a day's work for Lahvia--part Jezebel, part Artemisia Gentileschi. Like a fresh breath of nihilism for a diseased underworld, the seductive artist forsakes paint for blood, creating works of fatal beauty. The odors of death and leather cling to Cale's skin as the darkly sexy musician watches Lahvia's every move with the eyes of an obsessive killer; his bloodlust matched only by a burning desire for the artist herself. Together, they fix their sights on Stephen, a nighthawk who preys on innocent young flesh. They vow to undertake a daring project, sparked by the fact that the human body contains approximately six quarts of blood--enough to paint a masterpiece.

About the Author
Whitney Lakin currently lives in Michigan but plans on moving to Washington, DC in the near future for grad school. This is her first novel, though she's been writing morbidly humorous diary entries ever since she first picked up a crayon.
