Book Description
Who would know more of the female heart than a woman? Yet the Song of Solomon was written by a man. His inspired writing beautifully expresses the bride's heart and indicates it is not beyond the reach of men to know these things. Visions of the Bride of Christ as well as brides on earth come together in missionary Hannah Hurnard's beautiful allegory, "Hinds Feet in High Places". Come with us on a journey of discipleship viewed through a woman's eyes woven into portraits of the Chief Shepherd and the poetry of King Solomon. Hurnard was clearly an advanced disciple of Jesus Christ. This study should be required exercise for all married men and those who plan to marry. For women, it is an affirmation of their value and uniqueness and a hope for many that God can raise up a righteous Bridegroom for either the married or unmarried. We see in these lessons how a compassionate God is guiding his beloved children -- from nearly utter ruin to the High Places of His perfection.
