   Book Review

While not the most popular exam in the MCSE battery, the Implementing and Supporting Microsoft Windows 95 exam is one of the easiest of the bunch. If you have any experience with Windows 95 at all, a little studying should make the elective exam the closest possible thing to a "gimme" in the MCSE series.

This book can help you get a jump on the exam by directing your attention toward the details you need to know, while saving you the trouble of memorizing the other information. The authors jump into the core of Windows 95 by discussing the Registry and explaining what you need to know about editing it. Several important keys get individual explanations. Subsequent chapters help you review the essentials of networking under Windows 95 (including TCP/IP), network printing, Microsoft Exchange on the client side, and other nuts and bolts of the world's most popular consumer operating system.

Don't count on the explanatory text here to clue you in if you're starting from square one. Rather, use the excellent review questions to simulate the exam experience and get your mind focused.
