Diane Phalen is a nationally recognized watercolor artist and designer, best known for her Americana Quilt Series. She exhibits her work at numerous quilt shows and conferences, including Houston's International Quilt Festival, Lancaster's Quilter's Heritage, and the Outdoor Quilt Show in Sisters, Oregon. Her paintings have been featured in publications such as U.S. Art, Quilt World, and Quilts Japan. She is also the author of two books about painting. Diane lives in Banks, Oregon.
