About the Author
S. Peter Lewis started mountain guiding in 1983. He has worked for outdoor magazines and newspapers, and was photo editor for Yankee Rock & Ice, a history of New England climbing. He lives in Golden, Colorado, with his wife and two children. Peter is the Executive Director of the American Mountain Guides Association.
