Book Description
Create bright, bold and exciting greetings cards using rubber stamps and a whole range of inventive and easy-to-do techniques. This fun, techniques-led rubber stamping book is the perfect introduction for anyone who wants to create professional looking greeting cards with speed and ease. The tools and materials required are illustrated and described, and include brushes, markers, ink pads, wood mounted stamps and all the paper and card available on which to design your greetings. All the essential, and some more unusual, techniques are covered in the step-by-step, illustrated projects, as well as in the techniques section. These include cutouts, masking, embellishing, embossing and many more special effects, all in a riot of colour, texture and stunning finishes. This is the ideal place for stampers to start, and with such a wealth of ideas, there is bound to something new for even the most experienced stamping addict!

About the Author
Maggie Wright originally studied interior design, floristry and Cordon Bleu cooking, but has now been involved in rubber stamping for over twelve years, having run her own craft company. She recently organised a trip to California for twenty rubber stamp addicts to see stamps being manufactured, take part in workshops and see an American Stamp Show. Maggie takes an active part in coordinating with American stamp manufacturers as to what designs and wordings would be accepted by stampers in the UK. Maggie lives in East Grinstead, West Sussex.
