   Book Review

From Publishers Weekly
Neggers, who has been writing award-winning romantic fiction since the mid-1980s, weighs in with the story of bestselling novelist Cozie Hawthorn and Texas wildcatter Daniel Foxworth. After his helicopter explodes in mid-air, nearly killing him and his partner, Daniel must prove the copter was sabotaged or accept the possibility of his own negligence as a pilot. Cozie's brother, Seth, who had been at the scene moments before liftoff, is his only suspect. Hoping Cozie will lead him to Seth, Daniel rents her converted mill house in Woodstock, Vt. Cozie has enough problems without Daniel snooping around; she's trying to come to terms with her new-found fame while dealing with an increasingly terrifying anonymous telephone caller. Witty dialogue and vivid descriptions of autumn in Vermont are more than enough reason to forgive a thin plot and an uninspired ending. Copyright 1996 Reed Business Information, Inc.

Book Description
Once again, New York Times bestselling author Carla Neggers masters the nonstop suspense and pulse-pounding romance that keep her millions of readers up all night. Vermont newspaper editor Cozie Hawthorne is astounded by the money she makes when her collection of Yankee essays becomes a bestseller. But that doesn't mean she'll let success go to her head: she still drives a rusted Jeep and lives in a house -- built in 1790 -- that seems more amenable to bats than it does interesting men. Daniel Foxworth, renegade son of the Texas oil Foxworths, specializes in putting out chemical fires. At least he did until someone sabotaged his helicopter and almost killed him. The prime suspect is Cozie's brother, Seth, and evidence is piling up as fast as attraction is growing between Daniel and Cozie. When she finds out that the sexy Texan is out to prove her brother's guilt, Cozie is determined to find out who's really after Daniel. But as danger mounts, Daniel faces an even greater challenge: winning Cozie's trust...before someone ends up dead.

"Vermont newspaper editor Cozie Hawthorne was shocked at the money she made when her book of Yankee cracker-barrel wisdom hit the bestseller lists. That didn't mean she was ready to buy a dress that cost more than her rusted jeep. She prided herself on her traditional values. Her house was built in 1790. Sometimes she thought the last interesting man she met was around that date too.... Daniel Foxworth, renegade son of the Texas oil Foxworths, specialized in putting out fires. At least he did until someone sabotaged his helicopter and darn near killed him. His major suspect was Cozie Hawthorne's brother Seth. His major problem was that his suspect's sister had gotten under his skin. But when Cozie found out what the tall, dark, and sexy Texan was doing, Daniel would face his greatest challenge: to win her trust and turn hot-blooded anger into all-consuming passion.... Finding You, the long-awaited new novel by the bestselling and award-winning romance author Carla Neggers, has everything her millions of fans enjoy -- wickedly funny dialogue, non-stop suspense, and a deliciously spicy love story guaranteed to make your heart beat faster!
