CLA Review Manual: A Practical Guide to CLA Exam Preparation

FROM THE PUBLISHER

The CLA Review Manual includes basic background information, general administrative policies, and an expanded outline for each section of the examination as they existed at the time of publication. Any administrative policy, any examination section, or the examination as a whole is subject to change at any time at the discretion of the NALA Certifying Board. Although every reasonable effort is made to keep the CLA Review Manual current, there will always be some lag between the time of an examination or policy change and the ability to incorporate it into a publication of this type. Always check with the NALA Headquarters to determine whether any changes have occurred.

The CLA Review Manual contains tips for studying and for taking examinations in general. It also includes distilled and condensed topic coverage for each section and subsection of the examination as well as frequent examples, tables, and charts to aid the study effort. A self-test is provided at the end of each chapter.
