About the Author
Judy Bradbury, a public school teacher for more than 20 years, is now a full-time writer who regales fellow educators, parents, and book lovers with her articles in professional publications, parents' magazines, and local newspapers. When not speaking at conferences, she works out of her East Amherst, NY home, which she shares with her husband, daughter, one big dog and one cantankerous cat. Cathy Trachok has illustrated many children's books for the Nature Conservancy, The Girl Scouts of America, and the Smithsonian Institution. A resident of Oakland, California, she has received numerous awards and exhibits her work nationally.
