Book Description

Naïve and unschooled in the social graces, Rowena Riverstone nevertheless knows a scoundrel when she sees one. The dashing, devilish Noel Paxton is obviously a rogue of the first water. Why should he suddenly be so interested in an unpolished country girl? But the bigger mystery is why ever-so-serious Rowena responds to him with shivers, light-heartedness ... and an aching desire to be lost in his embrace.

Who is the real Rowena Riverstone -- an awkward country beauty ... or a cunning traitor to the crown? Noel has taken on the guise of the legendary Saint of Seven Dials to expose a dangerous spy in London -- and Rowena may be in league with his prime suspect. Still, there's an enchanting innocence about her that seems so real, and a passionate inner fire Noel longs to release with a sensuous kiss. Yet if he is mistaken about her loyalties, he would be escorting the woman he is growing to love into a most perilous world indeed.
