The voice is pitch-perfect and the action recognizably elementary, and not too mean.More Reviews and RecommendationsBiography

January 30, 2010: I liked how funny it was! By far, this was the best of all the Wimpy Kid books (1-4 at time of rating.) It's very cool how Greg outwits his older brother!

I Also Recommend: Warriors, Dog Days (Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series #4). Diary of a Wipmy Kidby Mama-MJ

January 16, 2010: I find the series to be quite hysterical to read. It is a bit over the head of my LD 4th grade son. He has a hard time reading some of the words and understanding some of the words but certain parts he laughs through. It is not really very educational but it certainly is a fun book and series to read. I don't think it would be a great book to have in the classrooms of the elementary school aged children but for Middle School it is much more appropriate. However I will continue to buy the books for my son since they are the only books he has taken a total liking to because of the fact that it is written in a comic book style picture and does tend to deal with certain every day happenings.
