Book Title: How to Maximize Your Child's Learning Ability
Book Description
How to Maximize Your Child's Learning Ability is a complete guide to choosing and using the best games, toys, activities, learning aids and tactics to maximize your child's learning ability.

Here is a book that offers parents hundreds of practical things they can do in daily life to influence, encourage, and-best of all-maximize their child's learning ability. Whether you have a young child attending preschool or a teen in high school, you can provide the essential experiences to enable your child to excel in many areas.

In private practice for more than 25 years, Dr. Lauren Bradway has observed that children, beginning in infancy, tend to favor a particular way of taking in and recalling information. Some children prefer sights, others sounds, and still others, touch and movement. Dr. Bradway refers to these three styles of learners as Lookers, Listeners and Movers respectively.

After determining a particular child's learning style, she selects toys, games and learning strategies to reinforce talents a child was blessed with at birth and to encourage skills that do not come as naturally.

In How to Maximize Your Child's Learning Ability, Dr. Bradway shares the techniques and methods she utilizes in a clinical setting with children. She'll teach you how to develop an individual program for your child designed to produce a more self-assured and balanced learner.

How To Maximize Your Child's Learning Ability

FROM THE PUBLISHER

Here is a revolutionary book that offers hundreds of practical ways to influence, encourage, and -- most of all -- maximize your child's learning ability. Whether your child is a preschooler or a high school teenager, he or she can master almost any skill. This book will show you how. Over twenty-five years ago, Dr. Lauren Bradway discovered that all children have specific learning styles -- that is, they use one of three ways to grasp and remember information. Some learn best through visual stimulation; others, through sound and language; still others, through touch and movement. In How to Maximize Your Child's Learning Ability, Dr. Bradway first shows you how to determine your child's inherent style. She then aids you in carefully selecting the toys, games, software programs, and educational strategies that will reinforce the talents and traits your child was born with, and strengthen those skills that need improvement. The result? A happier, more self-assured child with greatly enhanced learning skills. How to Maximize Your Child's Learning Ability provides the basic concepts that support Dr. Bradway's techniques, simple tests to help you uncover your child's individual learning style, and itemized lists of materials and tactics that will enable you to supercharge your child's learning skills. Here are all the tools you need to start your child on the road to a happy and successful future.
