The Scholastic Rhyming Dictionary: Over 15,000 Words

FROM THE PUBLISHER

This rhyming dictionary uses its own simple system: to find a rhyming word to "race, " young writers turn to the word in the index and are directed to the ending sound "ace." This entry is listed alphabetically in the dictionary and is followed by a list of perfect and imaginative rhymes.

FROM THE CRITICS

Children's Literature - Beverly Kobrin

Composing verse will be much easier with this dictionary, the best I've seen. Ms. Young provides 15,000 words organized by rhyming sounds - aste, oodle, uzzle, etc. All are listed alphabetically by the number of syllables and include phrases, idioms, and place names.
