The metamorphosis from tadpole to frog is one that always amazes. It starts with frog eggs in the water¿¿¿which in a clump are called frog spawn. As the tadpoles grow, they finally wiggle out of their eggs and start to grow. First they develop gills, then a hard mouth, hind legs and lungs start to form. Eventually, the tadpole becomes a frog and once mature, the cycle starts again. All of these changes are depicted in full color photographs; some include close-up looks to see exactly what is happening.
