In this board book, each spread is activities and things that a baby would encounter during a few days in his or her life. There are close up pictures of body parts, clothes, getting dressed, favorite foods (although I would be surprised if the piece of broccoli depicted is really a favorite), toys, colors, pets, moving around, bathtime and the bedroom. Crisp photographs and lots of attractive items will appeal to young readers and provide plenty for child and caregiver to discuss. The book resembles those produced by Dorling Kindersley.
